ive never questioned your knowledge sir, but you are wrong about my truck having corporate crap, whn i blew my rear out i had a dana installed...and i have 34 in baja widetrack M/Ts on it..chevys allison trans is the same company that makes the trans for the abhrams tank... i wonder why that is... the chev ford dodge thing is always a battle, has been since they started making trucks... but saying that chevys are garbage, is like me saying fords are... cuz in all reality, they arent...neither of them...the duramax motor is a great motor, the powerstroke is a great one as well... you can make any model truck haul as much as you want it to, regardless of brand...as far as you hauling, do you have a bed mounted hook up? or a hitch?

You guys are funny.

I am plenty happy with my 09 GMC with the duramax/Allison combo.

And BTW....I have owned and driven them all.

The bottom line is....to each their own........

Oh I almost forgot.......bags are the only way to go.....PERIOD..

The bags give a driver another button to play with on the freeway too.

I can if I hit speed bumps fast enough.

Ya know....the Dukes of Hazzard had a General Lee truck also. lollollollol_thumb

Thanks!

The dealership is putting the new style tie downs on and wiring my truck, I pick it up Wednesday.  Going to get it loaded for the test run to the beach and start that ever growing list of "what I need list".  Gearing up for some fun summer fishin trips...
